NamPower's core business is the generation, transmission, and supply to Large Power Users, including Regional Electricity Distributors (REDs). A large proportion of its energy needs are met through energy trading on SAPP.

Enerweb implemented the latest version of its Energy Trading System (ETS) for NamPower, which included the following modules:

  • Annual Electricity Supply Planning, including Demand Forecasting and Budgeting.
  • Operational Planning and Scheduling.
  • Short-term Electricity Supply Planning and Trade Optimisation.
  • Cross-border Energy Scheduling and Bilateral Contract Administration.
  • Metering Data Integration.
  • Energy and Financial Settlements, as well as Settlement Verification.
  • Operational and Management Reporting.
