MV-90 software (developed by UTS/ITRON) is a multi-vendor translation system that collects and analyses data from a variety of different brands of meters.

Eskom uses MV-90 for the remote acquiring of interval data for billing purposes. Interval metering data support encompasses up to ten different MV-90 servers throughout the country for the revenue meters for LPU customers. The interval data for statistical meters are also being managed via the MV-90 software.

Enerweb was part of the original product evaluation and decision-making group when Eskom purchased MV-90. Enerweb assisted in the initial implementation and installation of the MV-90 application and provided secondary support for the operating systems, servers, and communication environments. Enerweb took over the primary support of these operational environments in 2000.
