Enerweb is the leading supplier of Meter Data Management solutions in Southern Africa, with over 60% of all electricity consumed in South Africa being processed by Enerweb systems.

Automated Meter Reading (AMR)

• The Enerweb team implemented the first large scale AMR system in South Africa for Eskom and has been supporting the systems for the past 10 years (Itron MV90).
• Implemented and currently supports NamPower’s AMR systems (Itron MV90).

Meter Data Management

• Implemented and supports all Distribution’s Metering Data Management systems, including validation, estimation, editing, mass storage, manipulation, reporting, exporting, importing, analysis and automation of large sets of metering (including SCADA).
• Developed a central master data management system for the South African National Load Research Program.
• Smart Metering - Leading consulting authority in the field in South Africa, having been contracted to Eskom to undertake all Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) integration work.
• Selected as the Measurement and Verification systems service provider in support of Eskom’s DSM initiatives.
